Oxoid's 16th subsidiary opens in New
Zealand
Users of Oxoid, Remel and Dupont Qualicon Bax products in New Zealand benefit from the services of a dedicated national sales and support team following formation of Oxoid New Zealand in April 2006
Based in Auckland, Oxoid NZ is the 16th Oxoid subsidiary to open worldwide, and is being run by a knowledgeable and enthusiastic local team with full-time representation on both the North and South Islands Its aim is to give microbiologists in New Zealand the same level of service and technical support as that which has long been enjoyed by customers in Australia, while also helping to meet the needs of the growing trans-Tasman market

"Alan Chilcott is a registered medical microbiologist who gained a fantastic knowledge of the product range, customers and the New Zealand market while working with Global Science".

Now that the Oxoid NZ operation is fully up and running, Chilcott's priorities are to develop relationships and partnerships with its clinical and industrial microbiology customers whilst also raising service levels for the entire product range.
