Oxoid invites entries for Infection Control Awards

Oxoid has announced that the 2008-2009 Infection Control Team of the Year awards are now open for entry.
With a first prize of GBP5,000, and second and third prizes of GBP1,000 and GBP500 respectively, the awards are designed to recognise and reward the dedicated teams of infection-control microbiologists, nurses and doctors.
Entries must be submitted by 13 February 2009; they should be in English and between 1,800 and 2,500 words long, in the form of a report.
Otherwise, there is no prescribed format for an entry, allowing applicants the flexibility to present their entry in a manner that best suits the content.
The main activities described should have taken place since 1 January 2008.
