The DHS 1100 Domed Hot Stage is a new heating attachment for X-ray diffraction experiments in reflection geometry from room temperature to 1100C

It can be applied for investigation of crystalline textures, stress/strain analysis, temperature-induced phase transitions and structural properties of thin films become possible as a function of temperature Due to the dome-shaped X-ray window samples can be investigated under vacuum or under inert gas to avoid oxidation or other chemical reactions of the sample at high temperatures

Extensive cooling of the dome and the housing of the DHS 1100 attachment is achieved by using compressed air.

With the new DHS 1100 Domed Hot Stage for four-circle goniometers, Anton Paar says it offers another valuable analytical tool to material scientists working in the field of non-ambient X-ray diffraction.
