Four-in-one meter
Water analysis specialist Palintest has introduced an easy-to-use meter which can measure pH, conductivity, temperature, and total dissolved solids (TDS) in all aqueous solutions
The Palintest Waterproof 800 meter is suitable for use in the field, and its high specification makes it equally suitable for laboratory use, research and for specialist applications Economical in comparison to purchasing separate instruments, the meter has many user-friendly features which are easily accessible through the large, water-resistant membrane keypad

Meter preferences and default calibrations can be customised, the normalisation temperature and TDS factor are adjustable, and the temperature coefficient can be altered for solutions with a different coefficient from that of water.
The meter uses a double-junction pH electrode and a combined conductivity/TDS probe with a temperature sensor, both of which are plug-in for easy replacement.
Temperature is measured from 0 to 100C, and the meter automatically compensates for temperatures between 0 and 80C.
Resolution is 0.1 degree and accuracy is +/-0.3C.
The meter automatically selects from five conductivity ranges, from 0 to 19.99,199.9 or 1999 microsiemens per cm or to 19.99 or 199.9 millisiemens per cm, and can provide a corresponding TDS measurement.
One point in each of the measuring ranges can be calibrated for accuracy.
Resolution is 0.05% of full scale and accuracy is +/-1% of full scale or +/-1 digit.
pH is measured from 0 to 14, to an accuracy of +/-0.01pH and a resolution of 0.01pH.
The meter is capable of five point pH calibration to ensure accuracy.
It also automatically recognises and calibrates to standard buffer values, making pH calibration faster and easier.
