Four-in-one meter
Water analysis specialist Palintest has introduced an easy-to-use meter which can measure pH, conductivity, temperature, and total dissolved solids (TDS) in all aqueous solutions
It helps ensure that waste waters discharged from sewage and industrial effluent treatment plants have ammonia levels within Discharge Consent limits.
Based on the standard Nessler method, the first test reagent is supplied in a Tubetest sealed test tube, the second in the new dispenser.
After a sample is added to the first reagent, the second reagent is added simply from the new dispenser.
After one minute the tube is inserted in Palintest's ammonia meter and two buttons pressed.
The ammonia concentration is then displayed on a 10mm LCD.
The ammonia meter is a hand-held, direct-reading photometer, equally suitable for use in laboratories and treatment plants, and for direct field testing.
It has dual measurement ranges of 0-15 and 0-50mg/litre N.
As a result, the meter can be used to test samples from any point in the effluent treatment cycle.
