Conductivity meter for water analysis
Lightweight, easy-to-use multi-range conductivity meter offers a range of applications, from testing deionised water through to brine
Building on the proven technology of the 7000, the 7500 now includes improved optical technology developed for the 8000, is completely waterproof, extremely rugged, and features an adaptable tube holder and USB connection for simple PC connection.
It is easy-to-use and provides quick, accurate test results.
Up to 500 results can be stored and easily downloaded for trend monitoring and report production.
The Photometer 7500 is built around the Palintest range of water test reagents which uses light to measure colour changes in water samples treated with a reagent.
It is accurate to +/-0.005 at 0.3 absorbency units (au) and resolution is 0.001au.
The sample is simply placed in the unique adaptive cell holder and a button pressed.
The cell holder automatically adjusts to any round tube size.
The 7500 features automatic light wavelength selection for each of the its pre-programmed test methods.
It has easy-to-navigate menus and there are up to 15 user-definable test methods, providing full flexibility.
The software also remembers the most recent tests, making it even quicker to use next time.
Up to 500 tests results can be stored in the onboard memory, with a full audit trail of time, date, and results in chosen units.
Once back at base the test results are simply transferred to a PC by plugging it into the USB port and using the drag and drop file transfer utility.
Sealed to IP67, the unit runs on standard AA batteries, or can be powered through the USB port from the computer, or via a standalone adapter.
The 7500 is available in two kits, a Standard kit and an Engineer's kit designed specifically for mobile water service engineers.
Each comes complete with a carry case and room to store the required reagents.
