Sensor array systems have applications where taste and odour are important parameters in safety, acceptance, or performance of products or environments

Presearch has signed an agreement to distribute the Alpha MOS range of sensor array systems in the UK These world-leading products have a wide range of applications where taste and odour are important parameters in safety, acceptance, or performance of products or environments

Simple to use and very fast, responding in seconds to a presented sample, the systems can give a rapid pass/fail decision by correlating odour or taste components to expected values.

A range of systems are available, from high end R and D e-nose coupled to fingerprint MS through to simple at-plant or at- line QC devices.

Sample preparation is minimal and usual involves nothing more complex than headspace incubation followed by sample injection in the case of odours, or sample dissolution in the case of the e-tongue.

Presearch is running a series of seminars throughout the UK in February 2003 to launch the product range.
