Economy version turbo-drag pumping station consisting of a turbomolecular pump and a diaphragm pump provides high throughput and low vacuum

Pfeiffer Vacuum has developed an economy version turbo-drag pumping station It is characterised by a high throughput of 60l/s and a low ultimate vacuum, smaller than 10-8 mbar

Its compact design makes the Economy ideal for research and development.

The pumping station is a compact unit consisting of a turbomolecular pump and a diaphragm pump.

This combination ensures completely dry (free of hydrocarbons) operation.

Due to its small size it requires very little space.

Handles are incorporated into its sturdy frame.

With a weight of 15kg the pumping station is easy to transport, making it an ideal solution for laboratory applications.

Accessories are adapted through simple plug-and-play.

Air-cooling ensures proper cooling of the turbo.

A flooding valve provides rapid flooding of the turbopump.

The display is easily accessible and offers the user information and control options, ensuring high operational safety.

Changes in the pump operation are easily registered and can be rectified at an early stage.

By connecting a gauge to the control, the pressure of the vacuum chamber can be read at a glance.

The setting of various parameters is necessary for an optimum process.
