The Schuett ColonyQuant is the ideal system to provide immediate analysis to a PC for colony counting, says Progen The colony counter system encompasses the counter plus a CCD colour video camera, a stand, a framegrabber PC plug in and relevant software

Rapid sub second analysis.

High throughput processing capability up to 200 Petri dishes per hour irrespective of number of colonies to be counted.

Accepts 60mm or 90mm dishes.

Colony differentiation by colour, size and shape.

Results imported directly into Excel for analysis or can be archived to CD.

Dimensions 260mm (W) x 130mm (H) x 195 mm (D), weight 6kg.

Minimum PC requirements: Pentium, 16MB Ram, (plus 1GB for data storage).

1024 x 765 display controller board (16M colours).

A PCI slot for permanent storage of data is also advisable.
