Habitual working with a biological class II secure cabinet involves being able to isolate the working area from the exterior when not in use, in the case of a power failure or decontamination

Telstar has developed a completely leak-tight, automatic, single closure system using an inflatable seal that fully adapts to the front panel outline when this is in the closed or working position, providing the following advantages It maintains the sterile conditions of the work area while the cabinet is not being used

It enables cabinet decontamination (formaldehyde or hydrogen peroxide) to be quickly and safety performed without any risk of leakage of the chemical products in the laboratory and without any need for additional sealing (plastic bag or front cover) or specialised personnel.

It prevents particles entering the work area from the laboratory through the joint between the front panel and the case when in the working position.

Moreover, the cabinet microcontroller permanently monitors the working area level of leak-tightness and will sound an alarm if the level is not sufficient.

In the case of a mains power failure the front panel will automatically close and the cabinet seal is guaranteed by a standby battery installed in the equipment.

Once again, Telstar Industrial has been able to guarantee the maximum level of safety for the user and the working environment installed inside the cabinet.
