Progen Scientific is offering two new ranges of ultrasonic baths from Bandelin - the Sonorex Digitec and Sonorex Super ranges are high quality baths that offer value for money

The bath ranges are simple to use, easy to maintain and offer a host of features The Bandelin Sonorex Digitec Ultrasonic Baths are high powered easy to use baths

With easy to operate - self-explanatory symbols, well recognisable parameters, target as well as actual values and offer a brightly lit LED display.

Additional features include:.

- 4 step operation as 'plug and clean' .

- Heater, ambient to 80C, thermostatically adjustable, with LED display for target value and actual value of temperature.

- Optical signal in case of excess temperature.

- Timer for countdown and continuous operation.

- DEGAS: adjustable pulse sound level for removing unwanted air bubbles, visible at LCD display.

- Automatic short time ultrasound during heating up period to avoid delay in boiling; switch-off possible.

- CE marked as medical device .

-Protection Class IP33 at highest possible level through liquid-tight mains cable and housing front with openings.

- SweepTec for permanent sound field oscillation ensures even and gentle cleaning.

- Automatic safety shut-down 12 hours after last key press.

- Marking of filling level for safe dosage.

- One piece welded drain bow.

- PZT transducers with high efficiency Additionally Progen Scientific offers the Sonorex Digitec DT which are remote control units that have Infrared interface for automation of laboratories, an RS 232 data interface to the laboratory PC which allows processing of individual control tasks and integration into an automated laboratory.

Features of the WINSONIC DT remote control include:.

- The PC programme is designed for operating systems WIN 2000 and WIN XP in connection with the infrared adaptor IR-1 allowing a comfortable operation and monitoring of DIGITEC units.

- The status window gives an updated overview on the working conditions.

- Start time and stop time as well as the respective bath temperature are automatically collected in log files.

This way, a documentation of the cleaning process for quality assurance is possible.

The Bandelin Sonorex Super range features high powered, compact units with timers and optional heating.

Across the range there are a host of features including:.

- PZT large area oscillators give high-powered ultrasonic intensity throughout the entire volume of the oscillation tank.

- Constant power and automatic frequency control.

- Timer from 1 to 15 minutes or continuous.

- H-types with built-in heating thermostatic control 30 - 80C (65C with RK31H).

- Models 103H and above have drain tap.

- Range of accessories available including lids and baskets.

Bandelin Sonorex Digital 10P programmable ultrasonic baths are equipped with 10 programmes memory for scientific work with a host of features:.

Digital display and selection of the following parameters.

- Time: Settings from 1 - 99 minutes and continuous with interruption possible and remaining time display.

- Temperature: Setting between 20C and 80C with display of actual and set temperatures and accuracy of +/- 1.5C.

- Power: Settings from 10 - 100 percent, microprocessor controlled and power constancy guarantees exact reproduction.

- DEGAS: Rapid degassing of liquids with higher degassing rates in HPLC solvents.

- Store up to 10 programmes.

- PZT-DML discs in a large area oscillating system produces the highest possible intensity throughout the entire volume of the tank.

- Drain cocks on all models except DK102P.
