The second compressor stage, which is generally renowned for its unreliability in other freezer ranges, has been eliminated in the Dairei range The world patented single compressor system which is renowned for being extremely quiet, energy efficient, and very low maintenance

The additional desirable feature of the Dairei range of ultra-low freezers from Progen Scientific is the innovative design which has a smaller footprint than traditional ultra-low freezers.

The range is offered with a valuable two-year warranty on parts and labour and five year warranty of compressor.

Specific models available form Progen Scientific include Dairei laboratory chest freezers.

These feature an operating panel in front cover with electronic control and digital display, acoustic/visual alarm (high/low temperature, probe failure or Eprom failure) and no-volt remote alarm contact.

They also feature a lockable lid and spring-loaded hinges to allow opening at any angle.

The freezers are supplied with castors and sub-lids, approximately 72 hours battery back-up for alarms and temperature setting/display in the event of a power cut.

Additional for ULTF 80 to ULTF 420: a rechargeable battery so that all controller features, including digital temperature display and alarm functions, are retained even in the event of a mains power failure.
