Camera meets need for speed
Based on the latest generation of CMOS image sensors offering image quality that comes close to that of a CCD, camera combines Cameralink, quad speed and small size in a cost effective package
Two of the trends in camera evolution are that of speed and the move to digital interfacing The new CV-A33 addresses both of these with 120 frames per second at VGA resolution coupled to a CameraLink interface

IEEE-1394 digital camera technology without a PC
The Sony Digital Imaging Station (DFWS 77) enables non PC users to take advantage of high quality IEEE-1394 digital camera technology with its sharp low noise advantage
Based on the latest generation of CMOS image sensors offering image quality that comes close to that of a CCD, the 1/2" sensor features a resolution of 659x494 square pixels, and data rates of up to 120fps at full resolution and up to 20,000 fps in partial scan mode.
The CV-A33 uses the CameraLink interface with RS232 control for speed, ease of configuration and the ability to deliver high quality 10- and 8- bit image data.
Camera functionality includes programmable X and Y origins for 'window of interest' modes as well as edge pre-select and pulse width external trigger modes as found in other JAI A series cameras.
The CV-A33 has a very small footprint (58mm x 44mm x 35mm) and is compatible with all standard C-mount lenses.
For an increasing number of industrial inspection applications the challenge is to keep up with the rate at which parts are being produced.
No longer is the computer processing power the bottleneck for developing such systems, and with the CV-A33 the camera will not present a limitation either.
With an attractive price point, the CV-A33 is ideal for a wide range of inspection tasks in the pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and electronics sectors. Request a free brochure from Firstsight Vision ...
