Cameras with built-in smart features

Up to two megapixel resolution and 12 bit digitisation at up to 15 frames per second plus a Firewire interface

The new Dolphin series of megapixel cameras from AVT (Allied Vision Technology) add higher performance sensors and built-in smart features to Firstsight Vision's range of IEEE-1394 (Firewire) cameras Featuring a choice of 1.4 and 2Mpixel resolutions in both monochrome and colour, the cameras digitise to an impressive 12 bits at 15fps and 12fps respectively

15 internal frame buffers, multiple lookup tables and inbuilt shading correction enable high quality images to be captured with integrity.

Asynchronous capture, ideal for machine vision, can be invoked via software, hardware trigger or via the inbuilt quadrature encoder input.

Real time I/O and strobe control is provided as is comprehensive support for partial scanning, binning and rapid sequencing between camera settings.

The Dolphin range offers the simplicity of the IEEE-1394 interface standard - allowing up to 63 cameras to be connected - with true machine vision features not often found with standard Firewire cameras. Request a free brochure from Firstsight Vision ...
