Small cameras with gigabit ethernet and
T2IR
Dalsa Coreco's Genie series of gigabit ethernet cameras are affordable, easy to use digital cameras specifically engineered for industrial imaging applications
The Genie series combines standard gigabit ethernet technology with Dalsa Coreco's trigger-to-image reliability framework for robust capture and transfer of images from the camera to the host PC Trigger-to-image reliability (T2IR) is a proprietary engineering design framework that ensures the reliability of the image acquisition system by implementing key systems to secure the image acquisition process, permit error identification, and to provide a recovery mechanism if any errors occur

For machine vision, gigabit ethernet (GigE) delivers certain advantages such as the ability to transmit images to multiple computers images over standard, low cost CAT-5e or CAT-6 cables.
These can be up to 100 metres long or longer when combined with standard network switchers and routers.
Additionally, set-up is greatly simplified by using industry standard networking components.
The Genie series have been designed to take advantage of the new GigEVision standard to make easy plug and play of machine vision cameras on gigabit ethernet.
All Genie cameras are supported by Dalsa Coreco's Sapera LT software libraries so that as soon as a Genie camera is connected to the system, auto discovery automatically identifies the camera and communicates its supported features to the Sapera environment, thus greatly facilitating system set-up and configuration.
The range consists of a number of models ranging from 640x480 up to 1600x1200 fps in both colour and monochrome. Request a free brochure from Firstsight Vision ...
