Firstsight Vision announces the uEyeLE series of extremely compact, low-cost cameras designed specifically for non-industrial image processing applications

Part of the uEye family of affordable cameras equipped with a USB interface, the LE series can readily be interfaced with a vast variety of systems Manufactured by IDS, uEyeLE cameras are ideal for applications in microscopy and medical technology

Available in board level and plastic housing variants for added versatility, the uEye LE series feature a range of seven high- performance CMOS sensors ranging from Wide VGA resolution at 752x480 up to 5megapixel resolution.

All resolutions are available in color with some models also available in monochrome.

Key features include long term exposure, binning and region of interest readout for increased sensitivity and frame rate capabilities.

The LE series features an extremely compact design.

The CS-mount lens adapter of the housed model allows the use of compact, low-cost lenses and also includes back focus adjustment for easy set up with zoom lenses.

The board-level options provide S-mount lens adapters for M12/ M14 screw-mounted lenses, and achieve an even slimmer profile.

Integrating the uEye camera into a system is extremely simple.

All cameras are supplied with a comprehensive software package, including drivers for Windows and Linux.

Interfaces for various image processing packages, with standard drivers such as Direct Show (WDM) and a Software Development Kit (SDK) allow rapid system integration.

By using the same SDK as other members of uEye family customers can migrate to other cameras in the range including CCD based models and asynchronous functionality without the need to rewrite their application. Request a free brochure from Firstsight Vision ...
