Pittcon 2008: registrations open

Attendance in the conferee networking sessions, the technical programme, plenary lecture, and the exposition floor are included in the cost of registration

The Pittsburgh Conference announces advance registration is now open for Pittcon 2008 The Conference and Expo is scheduled for 1-7 March 2008, at the Ernest Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, USA

Conferees registering by 1 February 2008, will save 50% on the registration fee and more than 30% on short course fees.

The trend to register in advance is rising as evidenced by an 18% increase in advance registration at Pittcon 2007 compared to the previous year.

"Our planning efforts for Pittcon 2008 are focused on maximising value for both conferees and exhibitors, and we continue to make format changes in the conference and exposition to accomplish this goal," commented 2008 president John Varine.

"In the technical programme, we have expanded the conferee networking session topics and the number of co-programmed sessions by the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry.

"We have also included a new panel discussion session, Lab 2015, hosted by Advantage Business Media, and added two special symposia hosted by the SAS, Society for Applied Spectroscopy".

The registration fee will be waived for conferees who take three or more short courses.
