Pittcon to showcase numerous innovations
Pittcon 2008 in New Orleans will showcase nearly 1100 exhibitors with products and services for laboratories in the industrial, academic, and government sectors
The exposition will highlight the latest analytical and spectroscopic technologies and innovations for areas including, but not limited to bioanalytical chemistry, pharmaceutical science and drug discovery chemistry, nanotechnology, environmental analysis, forensics, food analysis, and homeland security Pittcon is international in scope with approximately 19% of the exhibiting companies headquartered in a variety of countries including the United Kingdom, Canada, China, Australia, France, Korea, Germany, Italy, India, Japan, and Sweden

ACS-DAC co-programs with Pittcon for second year
The Pittsburgh Conference announces the continuation of its partnership with the ACS Division of Analytical Chemistry at Pittcon 2008, 1-7 March 2008, in New Orleans
The nearly exposition floor will include 2440 booths, 45 seminar rooms, 13 new product forums, two complimentary mixers, and three specialised areas - New Exhibitor, Life Sciences, and Laboratory Informatics.
This year, Pittcon will be welcoming 144 new exhibitors.
When asked to comment about the goals for Pittcon 2008, exposition chairman Janeth Pifer replied: "We believe Pittcon is a unique opportunity for conferees, as well as exhibitors, and we continually strive to add value to make Pittcon a truly worthwhile and productive experience for all.
"This year, we have implemented several enhancements to the floor in response to attendee and exhibitor feedback including increasing the complimentary mixer locations, restructuring the poster area, and adding a 10,000 square foot rest area, Jackson Square, fashioned after the famous New Orleans landmark - just to name a few.".
