TotalChrom 6.3 new features include Iris 3D spectral processing software, a next generation software package offers that a fully 21 CFR Part 11 compliant architecture, automated processing and a modern, intuitive interface.
A Review and Approve (R and A) feature to quickly and easily examine numerous chromatograms and reports and if desired, to electronically sign off and route the approved data.
Enhanced integration with PerkinElmer's TurboMatrix headspace samplers to simplify use and streamline operations, including faster setup times and reduced entry errors.
"TotalChrom 6.3 adds new powerful functionality to a system that many of our users rely on daily to complete their research," said Peter Coggins, president of PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences.
"The R and A and Iris additions are critical for the pharmaceutical market and provide significant productivity enhancements for all markets.
"In addition, the ease-of-use of the TurboMatrix integration will appeal to all users of headspace technology, especially those concerned with full sample traceability".
Bringing these exciting new features and functionality to customer laboratories, TotalChrom 6.3 is expected to be available in early 2005.
Anyone purchasing TotalChrom for the remainder of 2004 will receive a free upgrade to TotalChrom 6.3.
PerkinElmer says its TotalChrom chromatography data system is a well-established solution for managing chromatography data, with more than 400 client/server enterprise systems running worldwide with over 3000 users and 10,000 workstation systems in place.
