Fast, easy sample preparation
Development of microwave digestion system speeds sample throughput with 1400W of power and 16 vessel sample capacity, to complement a range of inorganic analysis systems
PerkinElmer Instruments's new Multiwave 3000 has been developed from the highly successful Multiwave microwave digestion system The Multwave 3000 increases laboratory efficiency and speeds up sample thoughput, with a larger, 16-vessel sample capacity, more powerful heating, superior sensors requiring no cables or tools and built-in methods that conform to EPA/ISO guidelines

The 1400W microwave power ensures fast heating and the dual-magnetron system delivers unpulsed microwave power from zero to 1400W for precise control of critical reactions.
The Multiwave 3000 system has two complementary sensor options for temperature-controlled reactions.
A temperature probe in the rotor and the remote infrared (IR) sensor protect against overheating from reagents with high boiling levels and offer highly accurate readings.
A built-in forced-air cooling system prevents overheating and cools vessels in minutes after the end of decomposition, reducing cycling time,.
The Multiwave 3000 is controlled by intuitive software for easy routine operation and documentation.
Methods may be user-defined or taken from the comprehensive range provided by a built-in "cookbook" Proven safety features minimise hazards from spontaneous chemical reactions, and the system may be used with confidence in the most demanding areas of sample preparation.
A complete range of vessels and rotors is available, with unique, patented features, including self-sealing lip-type seals, aircooling and remote sensing systems.
The Multiwave 3000 system is designed to complement all PerkinElmer's inorganic analysis systems, including AA, ICP and ICP-MS.
