FT-IR microscope is compatible with
spectrometers
Offers rapid screening and identification of a wide range of microsamples with quick setup and easy viewing through purpose-built FT-IR optics
PerkinElmer's MultiScope system is a practical, cost-effective FT-IR microscope that provides a rapid, simple method of screening, inspecting and identifying a wide range of microsamples It is compatible with all current PerkinElmer FT-IR spectrometers with external beam capability

Simple controls, based on those used in laboratory microscopes, allow quick setup and easy viewing, even for occasional users.
Purpose-built FT-IR microscope optics ensure high performance, and precise sample identification can usually be accomplished in seconds.
For sampling versatility, the MultiScope operates in all three modes of IR sampling: Transmission - for films, laminates, fibers, and crystals.
Reflectance - for surfaces and thin films on reflective surfaces.
Micro-ATR - for highly absorbing samples such as black rubbers, filled polymers, and paper.
For larger samples that require analysis by reflection or ATR, the lower cassegrain can be removed, and the stage lowered.
The variable aperture in the MultiScope system allows small sample areas to be isolated without interference from the surrounding area.
Samples can be measured down to 10x10µm.
An advanced viewing system, incorporating video camera and multimedia software, provides on-screen viewing and archiving of visible images.
The MultiScope system expands to meet changing laboratory requirements, with optional purge capability, IR and visible polarizers for orientation studies, and a microsampling accessory kit.
An automated stage and multimedia Image software are also available for more advanced users.
