Laboratory management contract for
Schering-Plough
PerkinElmer has signed a three-year agreement with Schering, a subsidiary of Schering-Plough, to provide and implement OneSource maintenance at four Schering-Plough laboratory sites in New Jersey
This agreement represents the extension of an existing relationship between these companies for analytical and life sciences instrumentation and related services OneSource offers a comprehensive, flexible business solution for all lab equipment maintenance and asset management activities
Through consolidated and proactive management, OneSource provides customers with better control of their maintenance costs and helps to improve laboratory productivity through increased uptime.
"Schering-Plough's decision demonstrates its position as a leader in the industry, capitalizing on the growing trend toward laboratory management solutions that are flexible and deliver a high level of productivity," said Robert Friel, president of PerkinElmer Life and Analytical Sciences.
