Family of high performance CW diode pumped solid state lasers feature efficient, air-cooled operation and short warm-up times

Pro-Lite Technology, a specialist photonics distributor, has launched the Laser Quantum family of high performance blue, green and infrared CW diode pumped solid state (DPSS) lasers The Laser Quantum range of DPSS lasers takes in infrared (1064, 1053 and 1047nm) models up to 10W and frequency doubled versions (532, 527, 523nm) with outputs up to 5W

A series of enhanced cavity models (the Ventus series) is available which feature narrower linewidths (<30GHz), reduced noise (<2%, DC - 300KHz) and improved power stability (<0.5% rms).

Of special note is the Forte 1064-S which provides for single longitudinal mode (SLM) operation at 1064nm, and the Torus which employs a patented resonator design to give SLM operation without mode-hops at either 1064 or 532nm.

Torus linewidth is <5MHz and amplitude noise is <1% (10Hz-100MHz).

The Ciel model is an innovative solid state blue laser that gives an output of up to 250mW at 473nm.

Laser Quantum's designs incorporate all of the proven advantages of diode pumping of solid state lasers, including: efficient, air-cooled operation; simplified turn-key control; ultra-compact laser heads and power supplies; and short warm-up times.

Companion power supplies for the Laser Quantum lasers are designed for both OEM integration and laboratory use.

The latest switch-mode and surface mount technologies are incorporated for reliability, efficiency and compact size and the pump laser diodes are fully protected against over temperature operation and transient mains currents.

The top-of-the-range MPC 3000 laboratory controller features a convenient front panel LCD for monitoring the laser's status and adjusting the laser output power, while an RS232 serial interface is featured for remote control of the entire laser.
