The latest in safety eyewear style
Recognising that laser eyewear is only safe if it is actually worn, the designers have made this a comfortable and stylish alternative to a traditional goggle
By providing laser users with a choice of nine stylish and lightweight frame styles, Pro-Lite caters for individual tastes and preferences, which in turn will promote increased safety as the eyewear is more likely to be worn.
Polycarbonate filters generally provide blocking against low powered lasers, and offer the advantages of lighter weight and moderate cost and can be used with the attractive wraparound shield type of frame.
Mineral glass filters are offered for higher powered lasers and generally exhibit a higher level of visible light transmission for enhanced workplace safety.
Filters providing partial blocking against low powered, visible laser beams allow the user to align their laser safely.
A member of Pro-Lite staff was involved as a technical expert in the drafting of the European Standards that define the construction, testing and use of laser safety eyewear and Pro-Lite says it is pleased to offer impartial advice on the selection of appropriate eyewear in accordance with the applicable standards.
In addition to its eyewear, Pro-Lite can provide mineral glass windows (100x200mm and DIN A4) and polycarbonate sheets of varying sizes for screening laser enclosures or for windows into laser rooms.
Pro-Lite is a specialist distributor providing value-added service to the laser and optical radiation measurement communities in the UK and Ireland.
