Laser goggles for new levels of safety and comfort

Pro-Lite Technology says its FlexSeal goggle, the latest addition to its range of laser safety eyewear from GPT Glendale, is lightweight, fits over prescription eyewear, and offers a wide field of view.

With a new-style soft silicone goggle body and an adjustable headband, the wearer is said to be assured of the highest level of comfort and a secure fit.

The FlexSeal is currently available from stock with filters for protection against Nd:Yag, CO2 and diode lasers.

Additional filters for other laser wavelengths are continually being added to the range as they complete the EN207 certification process.

The FlexSeal joins GPT's existing range of frame styles which include spectacles, OTGs (over-glasses frames) and goggles and are available with polycarbonate and/or mineral glass filters.

GPT eyewear suits all budgets and offers protection from the UV to FIR in accordance with the European Standard EN207.

For those working with picosecond or femtosecond lasers there are also now models available with the M rating for lasers with pulses widths of less than one nanosecond.

In addition to its comprehensive range of laser safety eyewear, GPT Glendale also offers eyewear designed specifically for use with IPL (intense pulsed light) systems used in cosmetic treatments.

This eyewear is available for patients and operators and includes the new LightSpeed model which offers excellent visibility by only darkening (in less than one millisecond) when it detects the IPL flash.
