Polaris Instruments announces a completely different type of liquid degassing, using a combination of vacuum and ultrasonics, which involves no fluid loss

The Venus Degasser uses a novel combination of vacuum and ultrasonics to effectively and quickly degas liquid samples as small as 1ml or as large as 250ml The sample is static and not passed through long tubes, as in other types of degasser, so no fluid is lost

The ultrasound levels can be adjusted so as to not denature reagents such as proteins, and up to 10ml each of 8 different samples can be degassed simultaneously with an optional vacuum manifold.

In addition, the ultrasonic feature can be used as a conventional cleaning bath.

The Venus Degasser is especially suited for R&D laboratories using many small, labile samples and those working in the liquid and chemical testing industry.
