Creation of a new position to support systems for high temperature GPC and rapid polymer screening, plus range of laser-light scattering instruments for absolute molecular weight characterisation
Polymer Laboratories (PL) announces the creation of a new European specialist's position to support PL's systems for high temperature GPC and rapid polymer screening product range, plus the Precision Detectors range of laser-light scattering instruments for absolute molecular weight characterisation Huub Bock, sales manager for Polymer Laboratories's Benelux operation, has taken up the role of European specialist, to provide a heightened product focus for these expanding product ranges

His extensive experience with instrumentation puts Huub in an ideal position to support the PL-GPC 220 HTGPC chromatograph, PL XT-20 and PL RS-20 rapid GPC polymer screening systems and PD2000 series of absolute MW characterisation products, operating in PL's direct sales territories of the Benelux, Germany and France.
A graduate in analytical chemistry from the Free University of Amsterdam, Huub joined PL to support the company's sophisticated systems for the characterisation of polymers.
Huub formed a direct sales operation for Polymer Laboratories in the Benelux in 1990, followed by a joint development of the German and Benelux territories, and helped establish a direct German operation.
A particular interest in software programming led Huub to write his own solvent optimisation program for HPLC, as well as developing custom applications running PL's GPC software packages, with a special interest in detection techniques.
Huub will continue to run the Benelux office, and support all Benelux sales activities.
He is married with children, and enjoys amateur dramatics. Request free introductory details about products from Polymer Laboratories ...
