Proprietary enzyme and buffer formulation promising an unparalleled combination of performance, labour saving features and low price in one product

GoTaq Flexi DNA Polymerase from Promega is a new proprietary enzyme and buffer formulation promising an unparalleled combination of performance, labour saving features and low price in one product The reaction buffers included in the system allow users to go straight from thermocycler to gel analysis and bypass the need to add gel dyes to your samples

Green GoTaq reaction buffer serves as both reaction buffer and gel loading solution because it contains two dyes (blue and yellow) that separate during electrophoresis for monitoring fragment migration.

A colourless GoTaq reaction buffer allowing for worry-free fluorescence or absorbance detection after amplification is also provided.

In addition, the 25mM MgCl2 supplied allows users to fine-tune the magnesium concentration to exactly the level needed.

GoTaq Flexi DNA polymerase is compatible with PCR enhancers such as betaine and DMSO when used with either of the supplied buffers.

GoTaq Flexi DNA polymerase can be used in a variety of applications including two-step RT-PCR with Promega's ImProm-II reverse transcription system.

Dyes are said to be easily removed with the Wizard SV gel and PCR clean-up system for fluorescent sequencing or subcloning.

It is also compatible with the pGEM-T PCR cloning system or the PCR products can be directly added to the TnTT7 Quick System for in vitro transcription/translation.
