Assays benefit from clear-bottomed
microplates

With a choice of designs and formats including 24-, 96- and 384-well, an optimised plate is now available to suit almost all photometric and cell counting applications

Porvair Sciences, a specialist in microplate technology, has announced new additions to its range of Krystal clear-bottomed microplates With a choice of designs and formats including 24-, 96- and 384-well, an optimised Krystal plate is now available to suit almost all photometric and cell counting applications

Proprietary production techniques have allowed Porvair to offer a 384-well Krystal plate range with market leading plate flatness (+/- 0.10mm).

For scientists performing cell based assays with fluorescent imagers this translates into elimination of misreads and a significant increase in measurement precision.

Optimised for luminescence and fluorescence assays the novel clear cup design of Krystal 2000 96-well plates ensures zero well-to-well light cross talk providing unmatched measurement accuracy and repeatability.

In addition the clear cup design offers improved cell binding efficiency together with the convenience of direct use on inverted microscopes and bottom reading spectrophotometers.

Available in standard white or black, high bind or tissue culture treated versions Krystal 96 plates offer a versatile and cost effective 96-well solution for most photometric applications.

For photometric applications where typically samples are large Porvair's range of unique black and white Krystal 24 plates provide a solution.

Offering twenty-four high volume (3.1ml) wells in the convenient footprint of a standard 96-well plate the Krystal 24 provides a large surface area per well enabling efficient cell growth.

All Krystal range microplates are fully compatible with all automated liquid handling systems, photometric readers, and robotic handling devices. Request a free brochure from Porvair Sciences ...
