Designed for high-throughput polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays, the plates are compatible with almost all PCR and sequencing instruments.
To ensure full compatibility with robotic systems, Porvair thermal cycler plates offer a full plate skirt and high rigidity to minimise distortion before and after thermal cycling.
A working well volume of only 30ul means that 384-well thermal cycler plates are also highly economical on valuable samples.
For high-throughput genomic applications including cell harvesting, DNA separations, receptor binding, and plasmid isolation, Porvair offers a range of high volume filtration plates with sampling volumes of up to 5000l per well.
Incorporating a range of applications-optimised microfilters (glass fibre, nitrocellulose, polyethylene, PVDF and nylon), the new filtration plates can simultaneously filter either 48 or 96 samples providing great productivity benefits and high filtered sample integrity.
By adopting the standard 96-well plate footprint the filtration plates are readily integrated into fully automated liquid handling systems - generating further productivity benefits.
To ensure 100% sample transfer and zero cross-over contamination, each well has an individual drainage spout directing filtrate directly into the collection plate wells.
To provide a total filtration solution a complete range of vacuum manifolds and collection plates are also available.
Benefiting from automated production under Class 10,000 clean room conditions, Porvair Sciences is also able to offer a complete range of polypropylene deep-well plates free of RNase and DNase contamination.
Available in a choice of well volumes, including 350ul, 1ml, 2ml, 5ml and 10ml, the affordably priced plates are optimised to cover a wide range of sample preparation, storage and general assay applications.
To maintain the highest sample integrity Porvair Sciences offers a comprehensive range of plate sealing equipment, accessories and seals to cater for almost any requirement. Request a free brochure from Porvair Sciences ...
