658nm laser diodes are lead-free
More powerful than the laser diodes they replaced in compliance with the RoHS Directive, these lead-free diodes are suitable for low level therapy, medical imaging, industrial alignment, and levelling
For applications such as low level laser therapy, medical imaging, industrial alignment, laser levelling and barcode scanning, Sanyo's new lead-free laser diodes, DL-6147-240 and DL-6147-040, produce 40mW CW output power at 658nm, which is 10mW more output power than the DL-5147-042 series laser diodes which they replaced in compliance with the RoHS Directive Supplied in a 5.6mm package, the Sanyo DL-6147-240 and DL-6147-040 laser diodes have a low threshold current of 30mA, typical operating current of 65mA, operating voltage of 2.4V, monitor output current of 0.35mA and differential efficiency of 1.1mW/mA

Red laser diode
First product in new line of red laser diodes provides high output power of up to 35W (max) in the 635nm wavelength band
They have an operating temperature range of -10C to +60C.
The DL-6147-040 requires a negative (N type) power supply system, while the DL-6147-240 require a positive (P type) power supply system.
Virtually all Sanyo laser diodes are now lead-free.
