European distributor for Ondax laser
diodes
Photonic Products has been appointed by Ondax as authorised European distributor for its range of wavelength stabilised laser diodes which are low cost, miniature lasers in a standard TO package
Stabilisation is achieved using the Ondax volume holographic grating (VHG) PowerLocker The PowerLocker increases the spectral brightness of laser diodes, ensuring a precise centre wavelength over the locked region and improving temperature stability and yield, which enhances performance and enables many applications including bio-instrumentation, analytical instrumentation, sensing, flow cytometry, storage, metrology and graphic arts

635nm SC receptacle laser diode
With applications including fibre break locators and scientific instruments, this diode provides up to 1mW max of laser output at 635nm wavelength
The stabilised laser has a single-mode, narrow linewidth of <50MHz and a very low temperature dependence of <0.03nm/C, compact size (5.6mm and 9mm standard TO package) and is wavelength locked to <+/-1nm.
The laser is available in standard wavelengths of; 640nm, 658nm, 685nm, and 785nm.
Custom wavelengths are available upon request.
"We are delighted to supplement our current range of high performance laser diodes from Sanyo, Sony and Opnext with these specialised PowerLocker diodes from Ondax.
"We have many customers who will benefit from the stability of these devices", said Tony Wright, director of sales for Photonic Products.
Ondax's PowerLocker is ideal for increasing the spectral brightness of laser diodes and locking their emission wavelength.
The short external cavity enabled by the PowerLocker provides better mode selection than systems based on Littrow and Littman cavities.
Ondax, founded in 2000 by a team from the California Institute of Technology and the University of Bonn, is a manufacturer of volume holographic gratings. Request free introductory details about products from Photonic Products ...
