A wide selection of refrigerating/heating circulators that provide precise temperature control for viscosity testing applications is available from PolyScience

Designed for use with automatic, semi-automatic, and manual viscosity testing apparatus, PolyScience programmable and digital refrigerating/heating circulators feature temperature ranges as broad as -40 to 200C, +/-0.01C temperature stability, and are available with 6, 13, or 28 litre reservoirs They are said to be ideal for controlling the temperature of viscometers used in testing lubricants, fuels, paints, and polymers as well as blood and plasma

A variable speed pump ensures optimum temperature uniformity when glass capillary viscometers are placed in the reservoir and is also capable of circulating heat transfer fluids to external viscometers and reservoirs.

Key to the excellent performance of PolyScience programmable and digital refrigerating/heating circulators are their microprocessor-based controllers.

Models with the programmable controller offer sophisticated time/temperature profiling and can store up to ten 50-step user-defined programs.

They also offer extensive data logging capability, including communications support for Microsoft Excel, National Instruments LabView, and the Palm OS.

Other standard features include remote temperature control capability and built-in RS-232 interface.

Circulators with the digital controller provide the same outstanding temperature control and stability as programmable models, but without the advanced programming, remote temperature control, or communications capabilities.

Digital models also come equipped with an RS-232 interface.
