Parker Instrumentation has launched a website that is dedicated to introducing a radical new technology for interfacing differential pressure transmitters to process piping

The close-coupled instrument mounting system, or CCIMS, eliminates all the 'impulse line' tubing, valve and manifold components conventionally required to attach instruments to an orifice plate This provides significant gains in installation speed and measurement performance, and a reduction in potential leak paths

Educational resources on the site include an animated demonstration and video of the mounting system, and a powerful calculator, providing the means for instrument and piping engineers to quickly understand the technology and interactively determine how much time and money could be saved for a particular application.
