Biolitec AG will present three new laser systems for multidisciplinary use, at Medica in Dusseldorf, 19 to 22 November.
The company will introduce the Evolve Dual, a diode laser with two wavelengths; the Evolve 300, a powerful diode laser; and the Evolve Cut 100 high-power laser.
All of these support established laser applications in urology, ENT and aesthetics.
The Evolve uses LIFE (Laser Induced Flow Enhancement) for treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (benign enlargement of the prostate gland).
LIFE is now a standard treatment in the USA and Germany and is covered by compulsory health insurance funds.
The Evolve 300 provides urologists with fast and effective vaporisation of prostate tissue.
Elves (Endo Laser Vein System) Painless is a gentle alternative for removing varicose veins.
The Evolve Cut 100 diode laser system enables precise and powerful ablation in various surgical applications.
The Evolve Dual is a medical diode laser with two different wavelengths that can be used in parallel.
It offers optimal ablation.
Evolve laser systems were developed for a range of applications, including ENT medicine, gynaecology, gastroenterology, pneumology, treatment of inter-vertebral disks, aesthetics and proctology.
The Evolve laser series offers doctors microsurgical precision and simplifies many routine procedures with optimised treatment kits for specialised minimally invasive applications.
This series enables high simultaneous energy absorption in haemoglobin and water.
This allows concurrent vaporisation and coagulation of tissue in surgical applications.
Cutting and coagulation in the same step produces excellent results in terms of hemostasis, or arrest of bleeding.
The Evolve laser system offers faster healing for the patient, reduced scarring and shorter recovery times.
The Evolve series is compatible with most endoscopic systems.
