A new full-specification mini-sized blood bank refrigerator is now available from QED Scientific It can hold up to 30 standard blood packs in pull-out baskets
This new model can be freestanding on a bench or wall-mounted on a special bracket, thereby making it ideal for use in small theatres where space is at a premium.
Conforming to BS4376 it not only has a comprehensive temperature monitoring system but also a compact chart recorder.
The volt-free alarm contacts make it easy to connect into the hospital BMS if desired.
