Kit combines the selective binding properties of a silica-based membrane with flexible elution volumes to produce DNA free from impurities and suitable for use in PCR and STR

The QiaAmp DNA micro kit uses well-established technology for purification of genomic and mitochondrial DNA from small amounts of sample The procedure is suitable for a wide range of samples, such as small volumes of blood, blood cards, fine needle aspirates, small tissue samples (including laser microdissections), and forensic samples (including hair, swabs, saliva and sperm)

The kit combines the selective binding properties of a silica-based membrane with flexible elution volumes of between 20 and 100µl.

Purified DNA is free of proteins, nucleases, and other impurities, and is suitable for use in sensitive downstream applications, such as PCR and real-time PCR, and STR analysis.
