The efficiency of gene silencing with a single given siRNA is not fully predictable, and there is a risk that a particular siRNA will not result in effective silencing.

There are no restrictions on publication of the sequences, and complete confidentiality is guaranteed.
Researchers simply provide information about their target gene, preferably as RefSeq entries, although other formats are also acceptable.
After synthesis, Qiagen delivers each siRNA in separate vials containing 20nmol of high performance purity (HPP) grade siRNA.
HPP grade siRNA is >90% pure, and thorough quality control checks are performed, ensuring that 4-for-Silencing siRNA duplexes deliver the quality, value, and performance that RNAi research demands.
