The real advantage with the Flash and Go is that it is upgradeable, the basic colony counter can count lawn spread and spiral plates in seconds, with the ability to modify results on screen by adding or excluding areas as required.
The advanced software has the additional capability to have pre-defined programs, able to count colonies based on size shape and colour definitions.
A further upgrade allows inhibition zone measuring, it will automatically measure inhibition zones, identify antibiotic disks recording the corresponding diameter with the ability to record up to eight in seconds.
User permission can also be added allowing different users to use the Flash and Go without any problems Using bar coded labels on the petri dishes the Flash can read the label using a bar code reader and apply the relevant program for that sample, allowing many different types of sample to measured one after the other with out any settings having to manually changed.
The Flash and Go can be fully integrated in your Lims complying with CFR21 Part 11 regulations, software supplied from IUL will connect the Flash to your Lims.
All your secure work will be controlled, results collected and any incidences audited into an integrated database.
The Flash and Go can also be integrated into a plate handler that allows full push button operation with no supervision required.
