The ProfiClave PC10 is a fully automated benchtop media preparator from Biotool, distributed and supported by QM Solutions and described as the most versatile and convenient media steriliser

The ProfiClave PC10 has been designed to rapidly process up to nine litres of sterile culture media It has intuitive software that is operated via a touch screen that gives access 20 programmes which allows single or double heating cycles, autoclave or heating modes

There is a time delay and temperature functions which allows agar to be ready to pour at the start of work.

The front panel houses all user controls along with a parameter printout.

The ProfiClave comes with a stainless steel cuvette, built in pressure pump to prevent flash boiling, high strength magnetic stirrer, and a sterile filter for pressurisation with easy access to the vessel, no bolts or tools necessary.

The unique feature of the ProfiClave is the unique pressure correction adjusts the boiling point relative to ambient pressure and optimizes deaeration.

It only takes one hour to prepare nine litres of agar.

This can be used with BiotoolSwiss Petri dish filler to provide the complete solution for media preparation.

The ProfiClave is a multipurpose machine, it can act as a media steriliser, bench top autoclave and stable water bath.

There is a complete safety program that monitors all pressure and heating functions.

Other safety features are an auto-lock of outer safety lid with bolt catch to ensure no lid opening during operation.

Pressure sensors and valves prevent overheating during operation.

Safety thermostats also protect against overheating.

There is also mechanical pressure gauge that is independent of the power supply to ensure even if there is no power the pressure inside is still able to be monitored.
