QM launches V400 vortexer and centrifuge options

QM Solutions has added the V400 multi-vortexer and the BS400 and BR401 centrifuges to its laboratory equipment range.

The V400 vortexer was designed as a multiple tube vortexer, but has been adapted to accommodate deepwell microplates.

The unit has a capacity of up to 150 micro reaction tubes or four deepwell microplates and provides effective and consistent vortexing throughout.

This is achieved via a 'floating' vortexing plate that has continuously adjustable energy input.

The unit is supplied with an adjustable carrying plate.

The V400's specifications are as follows: pads: soft and hard foam (one set of each); overall dimensions: 400 x 310 x 420mm; carrying plate dimensions: 300 x 255mm; weight: 17 kilos; carrying capacity: 3kg; warranty: 12 months.

The BS400 and BR401 centrifuges are supplied with or without refrigeration and are ideal for general purpose centrifugation.

They have been designed and manufactured with safety features including locks and automatic shutdown devices, and are available with a full set of accessories, including swing-out and angle rotors.
