Randox Laboratories supplies a versatile range of tests for analysis of food products and beverages.
The range of tests includes lactic acid, acetic acid, malic acid, glucose, fructose, potassium, ammonia, antioxidants and veterinary drug residues.
Antioxidant testing is performed to determine the antioxidant potential of food products and to evaluate the phenolic content of beverages.
Randox offers a variety of antioxidant tests including individual antioxidant tests such as glutathione peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, glutathione reductase and albumin.
Randox's Total Antioxidant Status test assesses the overall antioxidant capacity in a single measurement to provide a comprehensive view of the product's antioxidant capacity in less than five minutes.
Randox Laboratories manufactures Elisa kits for highly specific drug residue screening in matrices including urine, serum, milk, tissue, eggs, honey, feed and feathers (kit dependent).
ELISA tests are rapid: up to 120 samples can be analysed in under three hours.
With Biochip Array technology from Randox, biochips are used to simultaneously and quantitatively detect an array of drug residues in a single sample.
The Anti-Microbial Array simultaneously tests for 12 sulphonamides in just 50ul urine or in 1gram tissue, feed or honey.
The Growth Promoters Array simultaneously performs nine growth promoter assays in just 100ul urine.
The Synthetic Steroids Array, available later this year, screens for ten synthetic steroids including trenbolone and stanozolol.
Randox biochips are rapid and sensitive quantitative screening tests for veterinary drug residues.
