High performance combined with fully automatic adaptation of the vacuum to the actual process parameters means that process times can be improved by 30%.

Available from Radleys, the Vario 2001 chemistry pumping unit is a new diaphragm pumping system for small to medium sized, stand alone distillation, concentration and drying applications Using the latest three-stage, low vacuum chemistry pumping technology the PC 2001 Vario is said to set new standards for efficiency, compactness (320x290x480mm) and low operational noise

The Vario 2001 chemistry pumping unit offers an advanced combination of high performance mechanics with the latest in electronic control technology.

Stable distillation conditions are maintained by automatic adaptation to parameter changes resulting in close to 100% solvent recovery.

Offering vacuum down to 2mbar and a pumping speed of up to 1.6m3/ hr the Vario 2001 delivers fast, continuously high evaporation rates.

High performance combined with fully automatic adaptation of the vacuum to the actual process parameters also means that process times are improved on average by approximately 30%, says Radleys.

For experiments requiring interactive control and datalogging the Vario 2001 provides bidirectional data communication via an RS 232C serial interface.

Low cost of ownership is said to be ensured through use of Vacuubrand's 'no stress' chemically resistant PTFE and fluorinated plastic head design for all parts coming into contact with the pumped media with service intervals typically exceeding well in excess of 20,000 running hours.

With whisper-quiet operation and oil free pumping the Vario 2001 Chemistry pumping unit is described as a positive addition to any laboratory working environment.
