Sensor signal conditioner has all the
answers

Control hub for any stand-alone measurement system combines an all-in-one conditioning unit for a wide variety of LVDTs and most strain gauge sensors

RDP Electronics's E725 is the control hub of any stand-alone measurement system Combining an all-in-one conditioning unit for a wide variety of LVDTs, and most strain gauge sensors, with local data display and network data transmission, the compact E725 provides the power and signal conditioning for the transducer, interprets the resulting signal and presents the results on its clear LED display

E725 conditioner units are available for a variety of transducer styles and with a range of features and options including trip switch outputs.

In addition to the standard TTL outputs, options are available for solid state or mechanical relay contacts in regular or fast-acting versions.

The E725 may be fitted with a range of input boards including AC for LVDT or half-bridge inductive sensors and DC for strain gauge and amplified transducers.

For measurement systems which require several independent transducer outputs to be monitored and controlled centrally in a cost-effective way, the answer is a E725 network.

The E725 offers an optional RS485 output with up to 256 units supported on the same network.

The integral microprocessor provides the calculation power, linearisation options and data management and a PC may be used either with the RS232 direct connection (for a single E725) or via an RS485 to RS232 converter from a network.

The PC provides the means to control the E725s centrally and by installing the free RDP software (downloadable from the website) the PC can be used to capture, analyse and display the data too.

Front panel control functions may be remotely controlled by applying a DC voltage to the digital input connector.

Functions including zeroing the display, changing the display mode and freezing the display are all available remotely using this connection.

The E725 can be supplied from a variety of AC and DC supplies: 5V, 12V and 24VDC and 105V, 115V and 230VAC and it provides both 4-20mA and 0-10V analogue outputs. Request a free brochure from RDP Electronics ...
