Nutrigenomics - using the knowledge of individual metabolism and genotype to determine diet - is the subject of the RSSL 2003 food seminar to be held in London in May 2003

Nutrigenomics is the hottest new topic in the food industry, and the subject of the RSSL 2003 seminar on food 'Targeted nutrition - what nutrigenomics can do for the food industry' is a one-day seminar for those in the food, functional food and food supplement industries

It will take place on 20 May 2003 at the Society of Chemical Industry, Belgrave Square, London.

Nutrigenomics is at the cutting edge of innovation, and is set to revolutionise our views on nutrition.

It uses the knowledge of our individual metabolism and genotype (genetic code) to determine what food we should eat to gain genuine health benefits.

In future, more foods could be targeted at specific sectors of the population, rather than the population as a whole.
