RSSL says its place as Europe's top laboratory for GM testing has been confirmed by the results of its performance in several independent ring trials released in the past four weeks

RSSL scored 100% accuracy in two consecutive rounds of the USDA/Gipsa quantitative proficiency testing and 100% accuracy in qualitative (presence/absence) detection in all of the rounds of USDA/Gipsa in which it participated RSSL has achieved equivalent success in five rounds of the Fapas/Gemma scheme, producing results well within the acceptance criteria imposed by the scheme's organisers

According to Andrew Tingey, who heads RSSL's GM testing service, "Put simply, our performance in Fapas demonstrates that our quantitative test consistently and dramatically exceeds the acceptability criteria set by Fapas for accuracy.

"Taken with our Gipsa results, I do not believe any other lab in the EU can match our record for accuracy and reliability.".
