The organiser of Interphex2007, the world's largest and most comprehensive pharmaceutical conference and exhibition, announces this year's keynote presenters and event programmes
Seasoned pioneers, Bill Cook, Chair and CEO of the Cook Group and Steven Burrill, CEO of Burrill and Co, will speak about emerging developments in the biotechnology and converging medical device markets on 24 and 25 April 2007 at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center in New York Show attendees will also have the opportunity to participate and learn about a wide variety of issues ranging from regulatory and process simulation to validation and contamination control

Interphex's keynote speakers in 2007 follow an entrepreneurial theme.
Leading presentations from the founders of two successful life science companies will be given, addressing the challenges and opportunities that are transforming the life sciences and healthcare industries.
Bill Cook, chair and CEO of the Cook Group, a worldwide conglomerate that manufactures medical devices, will discuss the future of medicine and medical device equipment.
In his presentation, Cook will explore partnership strategies, innovative approaches to R+D, and investment and regulatory issues needed to create winning combination products.
Cook will address the topic: What's next: where devices and medical equipment go from here, on Tuesday 24 April from 11:30am-12:30pm.
G Steven Burrill, CEO of Burrill and Co, will speak on the overall direction of the biotechnology industry on Wednesday, 25 April from 11:30am-12:30pm.
Burrill has over 35 years experience in the industry and serves on the board of directors of numerous scientific organizations, universities and hospitals.
Burrill will present predictions for the future and explore how scientific advances, technological convergence and expanding global markets are opening up new frontiers for personalization and commercialisation.
This year's show also features opportunities for small companies looking to scale-up production or secure funding.
The Bio to Business programme is now available to help small-to-medium sized biotech companies interested in scale-up production achieve their manufacturing goals.
Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pennsylvania (LSGPA) will also be moderating a panel on funding for early stage life science companies on Thursday 26 April from 10:00am-11:30am.
