3D analysis software wins magazine prize
The 3D analysis software developed by Smart Imaging Technologies for Nasa using Simagis 3D software workbench was selected by Advanced Imaging Magazine as 2008 software of year
Advanced Imaging Magazine selects and publishes lists of the most innovative and far-thinking imaging technologies in several key areas including military, medical and commercial applications The Simagis 3D software developed for Nasa Space Shuttle safety programme delivers the next generation of nondestructive testing capabilities
It can 'look' inside an object and provide automated objective and comprehensive analysis of internal material structures in three-dimensional space.
"We are very excited about this award which has followed a number of other important industry awards and recognitions that our software has received in 2007", said Vitali Khvatkov, the founder and CEO of Smart Imaging Technologies.
"This is an important continuous validation by our industry of the value and market potential of our technology", he added.
