With the increasing complexity of laboratory equipment and experimental practices, employees need a greater knowledge of safety practices and procedures than they may have had in the past
Academy Savant offers a series of 12 training courses on laboratory safety The modules review the Osha regulations and use a combination of audio, full-motion live video action, text and colourful graphics to teach good safety practices relevant to laboratory environments
They are suitable for both individual self-paced training, where the trainees are quizzed as they progress through the course, and also for instructor-led group presentations.
To suit the particular needs of different organisations, these courses are offered in a variety of formats.
Each 45-minute course is divided into logical sections so that the information is easily understood and retained.
The software platform enables trainer/managers to establish log-in procedures, define the curriculum, set up tests and generate progress reports.
