DosaPrep X8 media degasser has been designed to quickly and safely prepare and dispense dissolution media
Fully compliant with USP, EP, FDA, GLP/GMP recommendations and regulations, it is capable of processing up to eight litres of dissolution media in a single operation.
The media, which may be a combination of water and acid or buffer, is filtered, mixed, warmed and degassed under vacuum and dispensed in up to eight individual volumes with an accuracy of better than +/- 5 grams.
The complete sequence is accurately monitored and each dispensed volume can be printed out for extra validation documentation.
The DosaPrep X8 can prepare the media in under ten minutes without the need for user intervention.
In addition to saving time, the DosaPrep reduces the exposure of laboratory personnel to hazardous substances by minimising their contact with acid during preparation and dispensing.
The DosaPrep is available through SMI and its dealer network.
